Biggest Decision?
Accepting the Director of Athletics position at Milwaukee. After one year in Milwaukee, I can whole-heartedly say that every day as an AD has been amazing! I have had the opportunity to work with focused, hardworking students and coaches that are great ambassadors for UWM. The job of Director of Athletics at a Division I institution is dynamic, fast paced and 24/7. I am living my childhood dream, for a former student athlete and coach; I could not be more thrilled with this career decision.
Biggest Surprise?
The winter has been quite tropical in Wisconsin. Though please check back with me in a few weeks after. I join student athletes in Polar Plunge for Special Olympics.
Biggest Challenge?
Continuing to increase the resources to provide a championship experience for our student athletes and coaches. We are very fortunate at Milwaukee that 53% of our sports won Horizon League championships last year. Every day Team Panther is working extremely hard to increase ticket sales, corporate sponsorships, and fundraising to maintain an incredibly high level of academic and athletic excellence.
